If you aren’t already rinsing your rice, it’s time to start. Mostly because it’s the best way to prevent gummy grains. (Same goes for quinoa, barely, buckwheat, and other grains.) And that’s where the Good Grips Rice and Grains Washing Colander comes in. It has specially designed square holes that contain the grains but allow water to drain slowly while it washes any impurities away. The water pools before it drains so that you know when the grains are clean (the water will be clear). The Colander even has a pour spout, which has extra drain holes, and non-slip handles for comfortable agitating as you rinse. Dishwasher safe.
